Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and launched by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo. The game is played on the Nintendo Switch console. The game is a remake of the 1998 video game Pokémon Yellow. The game can be integrated with the Android/iOS platform game Pokémon Go and supports the dedicated Poké Ball Plus controller. The game can be played in cooperative multiplayer. Each player only needs one Joy-Con per. If another player shakes up the second Joy-Con, they join the main player and can battle together against other Pokémon trainers and help catch wild Pokémon. When both players throw a pokémon ball at the same time it is possible to double the chance of catching a pokémon.
One of the distinct features in Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! is a wild Pokémon appearing in the outside world. This feature differs from the rest of the main series in that players cannot see the pokemon that appear in the outside world and must travel through grass, water, or caves to meet wild pokémon, similar to Pokémon Go. The system for capturing wild pokémon is also similar to Pokémon Go, i.e. catching pokémon with pokémon balls that can be assisted by giving berries. The game can be played using the optional controller, Poké Ball Plus. It looks like a Poké Ball. During the Nintendo Direct E3 2018 presentation on June 12, 2018, it was announced that Poké Ball Plus would launch alongside the transferable Mew.
